The Carolina Philharmonic was created in 2009 by Maestro David Michael Wolff. Maestro Wolff launched The Carolina Philharmonic (TCP) with a singular goal: to create a Symphony Orchestra that would not simply embrace audiences of all ages, but reach out to our audiences for support to bring Music Education to children.
Whitney will be joining TCP as Master of Ceremonies for their Link Up Education Series: The Orchestra Sings. The Orchestra Sings was created in partnership with The Weill Music Institute at Carnegie Hall. Every year TCP brings the joy of music to over 3,500 children through three innovative programs. Those programs are Encore Kids (grades K-2), Link Up (grades 3-5) and Junior Orchestra (grades 3-12). Through interactive musical experiences and curricula, we're pushing the boundaries of the possible while exploring cutting edge trends in the field of Music Education. Along the way, we're impacting the lives of countless children.
Whitney is thrilled to be joining The Carolina Philharmonic for this wonderful program of beautiful music and educational outreach to children.
